Our story

Richard Angel and Ed O’Donnell met in 2016 at an established interiors studio. Richard was a year into his role as Managing Director, and Ed had just started as the new Creative Team Head. The pair soon bonded over their frustrations with a culture that prized processes over creativity and the ‘house style’ over clients’ wants and needs.

They realised that if they wanted change, they would need to break free and pioneer a new kind of studio – one that wasn’t afraid to create different looks for different people. No one-size-fits-all process. No cookie-cutter style. Just exquisitely crafted homes that are every bit as unique as the people they’re designing them for.

With their strategy in place, the eponymous Angel O’Donnell set up shop in 2018. Since then, awards have been won, column inches have been filled, projects have grown in variety and scale, and the original team of two has become a team of twelve, one that’s fully committed to delivering the very best product for its clients.
