A landmark City address: One Crown Place

With vast views, beautiful light, and a seamless blend of Georgian architecture and 21^st century engineering – of colourful terracotta façades and sharply angled steel and glass – One Crown Place is a rich source of design inspiration.

We wanted to build on these cues with youthful and spirited interiors that not only celebrate the building but also the diverse culture and creativity surrounding it.

All shapes and sizes

Round, wavy, squiggly and nimbus-like shapes transform the living area into a sybarite’s sanctuary. We curated the space so that one’s eye is drawn to specific pieces like artefacts in a gallery.

It could be the fantastical rug filled with beaked dog people, wagging tongues and floating hands, by Spanish artist Jaime Hayon. The coffee table constructed from glass and rusted steel. Or the delicate floor lamp that resembles a long-stemmed flower. Wherever you turn, there’s always something to catch your interest.

Give it a spin

This desk is one-of-a-kind, built to spec to rotate 360°. The freedom to swivel the top in any direction allows whoever’s working to enjoy multiple views – from the bright dining area to the iconic London Eye and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

To complement its rounded form, we’ve paired it with a pebble-shaped chair, whose carved back resembles a Barbara Hepworth sculpture.

Twin peaks

The theme of bold shapes continues into the guest bedroom with pointillist-inspired fabric, lipstick-red collages, candy-striped light shades, bedsides that look like giant honey dippers, and a headboard that’s evocative of sand dunes and mountain peaks.
