Picture-perfect
framing

There’s no one-size-fits-all framing solution. A 19^th century oil painting may look great in a hand-finished frame from the same period. Or it may take on a new life in something clean-lined and contemporary. An etching may require UV-protected glass to shield it from sun damage. Whereas a vintage silk scarf will need to be expertly hand-sewn to a linen-covered matboard, then placed in a shadowbox inside the frame so it doesn’t touch the glass.
